Who should apply
This baseline certification is open to job seekers, incumbent workers, students, and workforce-program participants who use or may use AI tools for workplace tasks. Candidates should be able to read workplace scenarios, make basic policy-based decisions, and distinguish appropriate from inappropriate use of AI assistance. No prior AI development experience is required. Candidates are eligible when they can attest that they will complete the exam independently and follow applicable organization, school, or program policies for technology use and academic or workplace integrity.
